Admission Eligibility

B.Sc. Examination with Chemistry (Hons), Physics & Mathematics from University of Calcutta or its equivalent is eligible for admission to three year Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) course.

B.Tech. Examination in Chemical Engineering from recognised University, is eligible for admission to four semester Master of Technology (M.Tech) course in Chemical Engineering.

Department of Computer Science & Engineering-

B.Tech Computer Science & Engineering

Eligibility:

Candidate must have HONOURS of this University in the Computer Science/Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics at the graduation level.

A quota for S.C./ S.T. students is also available.

Selection:

Selection is strictly in order of merit. B.Sc.(Hons.) in Computer Science. Intake capacity of CUCSE for BTECH course is 30.

M.Tech Computer Science & Engineering

Eligibility:

B.Tech. / B.E. in Computer Science / Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology (C.U.) / Computer Science & Technology, MCA (with B.Sc. (Honours) in Physics / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science / Electronic Science) or M.Sc. in Computer and Information Science (with B.Sc. (Honours) in Computer Science from University of Calcutta) or equivalent degree in Computer Science.

Selection:
Selection is strictly in order of merit. Intake capacity of CUCSE for MTECH course is 30.
