The University of Washington (UW) is a public research university in Seattle, Washington, United States. It was established in 1861. UW is one of the oldest universities on the West Coast.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is a 2-year upper-division professional program.

UW BSN students enter the program with a solid foundation of science and humanities.

Deadline

The applications are generally available from August until January.

Applications are due no later than 5:00pm PST on January 15 to begin study the following Autumn Quarter.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum college-level cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0

Completion of 90 quarter credits of prerequisite courses including:

Minimum of 3 Natural World courses with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
or
4 Natural World courses with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8

Minimum grade of 2.0 in ALL prerequisite courses

Minimum of 100 hours volunteer or paid health care experience in one setting within a period of 3 months, completed within 12 months prior.

Proof of English language proficiency (all applicants)
