Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET) was an entrance exam for postgraduate programs in management in the IIT’s of India. Institutes who used the JMET includes Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and the IIT Schools of Management. A merit list was formed on the basis of the result of JMET. From the year 2011 JMET was replaced by Common Admission Test (CAT), now JMET is no longer conducted. JMET was conducted on rotational basis by the following IIT’s :- Kharagpur Bombay Delhi Madras Kanpur Roorkee Bangalore If you want to go in the field of management you can give the exam of CAT. Here is some basic information about CAT. Common Admission Test (CAT) is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management. CAT is normally conducted every year in the months of October or November normally. It is a computer based test. CAT scores a person on the following bases :- Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning. |
