ELECTRONIC SCIENCES: Metallic, semiconducting & oxide glasses, High-temperature superconductivity, Phase transitions and critical phenomena, Molecular dynamics and diffusion in liquid crystals, Magnetism and transport in low-dimensional systems, Nanoionic, superionic and nano-crystalline materials, Percolation in dilute magnetic systems, Reentrant phenomena, Dielectrics, MIC’s; VLSI design, Computational Electromagnetics, Nanostructured Materials and Thin films, Ion Beam Modification and Analysis of Modern Nanosized materials.

LASER PHYSICS AND MODERN OPTICS (THEORY): Cavity QED, Quantum noise in phase conjugate resonators, Photonic atoms, Non-linear mixing, Incoherent spectroscopy, Optical Cooling, Topological phases in optics.
