Eligibility:
The candidate should have done graduation in any discipline from any recognized university.

Admission:
The candidate should fill the online application form which is available on to the official website. The final selection will be on the basis of application ratings and on the performance in JMET exam.

Important Dates
Commencement of Online Application Form Submission: last weeh, December 2015
Last Date of Online Application Process: 2nd week, January 2016
Date of Test & Interviews in Depts/Centres/Schools (for short listed candidates): 1st week March – 1st week April 2016 (tentative)
Result declaration: 1st week, May 2016 (tentative)


Eligibility Criteria
Applicants seeking admission in MBA of the Institute should have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Master’s degree in Science Economics or Commerce (with Mathematics or Statistics at Bachelor’s level) with the following criteria:

i) For institutes
a) Awarding degree based on aggregate marks secured in all years of the qualifying degree
OR
b) Awarding degree based on aggregate marks secured in the final two semesters or final year of the qualifying degree:

a) GE/NC-OBC: Minimum of 60% marks (OR CGPA of 6.5 on a 10 point scale)

b) SC/ST/PwD: Minimum of 55% marks (OR CGPA of 6.0 on a 10 point scale)

ii) For both the above situations, if the CGPA is on a different scale than 10.0, the eligibility of the applicants will be calculated corresponding to the equivalence stated above

iii) Admission to reserved category applicants will be as per Govt. of India rules

iv) Applicants must be in good health

v) Persons with Physical Disabilities (PwD) seeking admission to MBA are to appear before a medical board on or before 31st Oct. 2015 at IIT Kharagpur; the decision of the Medical Board is final and becomes binding to the candidate

Admission Procedure
Applicants are short-listed for GD-WA-PI from among applicants who have a valid CAT/GMAT score, who have applied for the Programme and who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the Programme
An overseas category applicants who applies with a GMAT score instead of a CAT Score should have a total scaled score of at least 750
Selection will be based on application rating, performance in CAT for domestic applicants and GMAT for international applicants, and the applicants performance in the group discussion, written analysis and personal interview (GD-WA-PI) round
Post qualification work experience in organizations will be given due consideration

Overall CAT cut-off:
There is an overall cut-off.
For General candidates, minimum CAT percentile is 95,
For NC-OBC 85, for SC - 80, for ST - 75 and for PwD - 80
