Combined Medical Services Examination
Educational Qualification
You have to pass written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. Examination from any well recognized university. Final year MBBS candidates are also eligible to apply.

Age - limits:
Below 32 years on 1st January of the year of Examination

Scheme of Examination
Written Examination (2 papers of 200 marks each, both of objective type)
Paper I (200 marks)
General Medicine including Cardiology, Neurology, Dermatology and Psychiatry
60%
Surgery including ENT, Ophthalmology, Traumatology and Orthopaedics
40%

Paper II (200 Marks)
(i) Paediatrics 20%
(ii) Gynaecology and Obstetrics 40%
(iii) Preventive, Social and Community Medicine 40%
Total marks for written exam. 400
Personality Test 200 Marks

Important dates :
Notification regarding Combined Medical Services Exam will be released on 22/03/2014.
Last date for receiving the application for CMS Exam is 21/04/2014.
Combined Medical Services Exam will be held on 22/06/2014.
