I am giving the detail of IBPS PO/MT Exam: IBPS PO/MT Exam Pattern Details Institute of Banking Personnel Selection – IBPS, Probationary Officers (PO) examination exam pattern details given below… Common Written Examination consists of two parts, 1. Objective type 2. Descriptive paper Total no. of questions is 250 Total marks 250, Duration for objective type questions is 150 minutes and for Descriptive paper 60 minutes. Negative Marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in objective type Exam. Here I am providing you the details of the bank PO exam of Bank of India as under: Exam pattern for the bank PO of Bank of India: From 2015, SBI had changed the pattern of PO exam. There will be 3 phases instead of 2. In Phase 1 there will be for screening of non-serious candidates to remove from the competition. In Phase 2 there will be main exam consisting of written as well as descriptive paper. The main change is the descriptive paper is also online, i.e. candidates need to type it on the computer rather than the old written pattern. Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. Exam papers for bank PO: 1 English Language 30 30 1 hour 2 Quantitative Aptitude 35 35 3 Reasoning Ability 35 35 Descriptive Paper Letter Writing Paragraph Writing Essay Writing Precise Writing Reading Comprehension Phase 3 will be the interview, i.e. the personal interview and the group discussion part. The candidates need to give there best in this and take active part in GD, as the interviewers will be watching them. Final Selection: The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase-I) will not be added for the selection and only the marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II) will be added to the marks obtained in GD & Interview (Phase-III) for preparation of the final merit list.
