Can you give me detail of Tamilnadu Dr Mgr Medical University Convocation The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University TNMGRMU is a government medical university in Chennai. It is the second-largest health sciences university in India. Convocation The convocation in 2014 was the 26th Convocation of Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. Its details are as follows: Venue: Centenary Auditorium, University of Madras, Chepauk , Chennai – 600 005. Date: 02.09.2014 (Tuesday) Time: 12.00 Noon Candidates attending the Convocation must be properly and decently dressed. The male candidates shall wear formal dress like full suit or safari suit. The female candidates shall wear Saree and hair should be groomed properly. All are required to pay due regard to formality and uniformity in their dress, in their respective academic robes. The Tamil Nadu Medical University Act, 1987 (Act No.37 of 1987) received the assent of the President of India on 24th September, 1987. By an Act No. 39 of 1991. I have attached PDF file here that contain detail of Convocation of Tamilnadu Dr Mgr Medical University. the convocation statutes of the tamil nadu dr. M.g.r. Medical university, chennai. in exercise of the powers conferred by section 42 of the tamil nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai Act, 1987 (Tamil Nadu Act 37 of 1987) the Governing Council of the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, hereby repeals the Existing Convocation Statutes and makes the following Statutes:- 1. Short title and commencement.—(a) These statutes shall be called “THE CONVOCATION STATUTES OF THE TAMIL NADU Dr. M.G.R. MEDICAL UNIVERSITY, CHENNAI”. (b) They shall come into force from the date of assent of the Chancellor. CHAPTER I. 2. Definitions.— (a) “Designated Room” means a room adjoining the convocation hall, where the Chancellor, Pro-Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, Presidents of the faculties/Chairman, Board of Studies and members of the Governing Council shall assemble with the academic robes. (b) “Designated Officer” means the Presidents of Faculties in their absence the Officers of this University to represent them, Officers of the Government of Tamil Nadu, members of the Governing Council, members of Senate, Deans/Principals of the affiliated colleges, who are nominated by the Governing Council/Vice-Chancellor to present the names of awardees for prizes and medals and candidates who are qualified to receive various degrees and diplomas, to the Chancellor at the podium. (c) “Notified Date” means the date specified in the notification issued by this University calling for applications for admission to convocation. (d) The words and phrases used in these statutes shall, unless expressly explained otherwise have the same meaning as they have with reference to the Quote:
