Hello sir let me know ME syllabus for Karpagam University The Department of the Mechanical & Automobile Engineering offers Bachelors course in Mechnical Engineering. Here, I am giving you syllabus of the B.E mechanical Engineering UNIT I LISTENING Listening to a variety of passages listening to conversations, descriptions, lectures, interviews, news reading, TV & Radio announcements, speeches on different occasions and dramas / listening to television channels for picking up pronunciation and accent note taking while listening to lectures listening to conversations, descriptions, lectures, interviews, news reading, TV & Radio announcements, speeches on different occasions and dramas / listening. Unit II Reading Reading for comprehension reading aloud different kinds of passages like descriptive, narrative, objective, conversational and argumentative reading with pause, stress and intonation. Reading strategies skimming and scanning prediction of contentintensive reading text analysis. Unit III Writing techniques effective sentences and their structures short paragraph writing formal and informal letter writing discourse features writing on different situations. Unit IV Spoken structures on different situations introduction, greeting, leave taking, request, agreement, disagreement, etc modal auxiliaries in oral communication role play and conversation practice public speaking techniques introduction to phonetics speaking with correct pronunciation and accent. Unit V Basic grammar parts of speech grammatical functions of the same word tenses voice concord degrees of comparisons prepositions conditional sentences active and passive vocabulary reported speech. Karpagam University conducts engineering program. Admission requirements: Your admission to the first semester of the Master’s Degree Programme shall be required to have passed an appropriate Degree Examination of any University accepted by the Board of Management of the University Structure Of The Programme 3.1 Every Programme will have a curriculum and syllabi consisting of core courses, elective courses and project work. he Programme may also include seminar / practicals / practical taining, if they are specified in the curriculum. 3.1.1 The electives from the curriculum are to be chosen with the approval of the Head of the Department.
