Computer engineering
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science/Information Technology or MCA/M.Sc. (Computer Science)/ M.Sc.(IT)/ MSc.(IMCA) with an aggregate of 60% marks in the absolute system or a minimum grade of 6.75 on a 10 point grade

Control and instrumentation systems
Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, and Control / Electronics & Communication Engineering with an aggregate of 60% marks (or a minimum grade of 6.75 on a 10 point scale).

Earthquake engineering
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with an aggregate of 60% marks (or a minimum grade of 6.75 on a 10 point scale).

Electrical power system and management
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with an aggregate of 60% marks (or a minimum grade of 6.75 on a 10 point scale).

Electronics and communication engineering (part-time)
Bachelors Degree in Electronics Engg./ Electronics & Communication Engg./Electronics and Instrumentation Engg. Or equivalent examination with an aggregate of 60% (or a minimum grade of 6.75 on a 10 point scale).

Environment Science and Engineering
(i) Bachelor’s degree in Civil/ Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical/Metallurgical/Mining/Agricultural Engineering and Relevant degrees in Engineering & Technology with an aggregate of 60% marks with two years industrial / field experience in Environmental/ Pollution Control Technology (after qualifying 10+2 examination).
