It is basically a University of Delhi maintained institution and is funded entirely by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Departments Biochemistry Biostatistics Cardiorespiratory Physiology Clinical Biochemistry Medical Mycology Micorbiology Pathology Pharmacology Physiology Radiodiagnosis & Imaging Respiratory Allergy & Immunology Respiratory Medicine Respiratory Virology Research Centers/ Special Clinic Courses The Institute offers the following courses of study. The degrees are awarded by the University of Delhi. DM Pulmonary Medicine MD Pulmonary Medicine Physiology Pharmacology Biochemistry Microbiology Ph D Pulmonary Medicne Physiology Pharmacology Biochemistry Microbiology Diploma in Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases (DTCD) Training In addition to the University courses, the Institute provides the following short-term training programmes: Workshop on Diagnosis and management of Respiratory Allergic Diseases The workshop is of 5 days duration and organized once a year.
