The Uttar Pradesh Common Admission Test (UPCAT) is conducted by Association of Private Medical & Dental Colleges of U. P. as All India Common Admission Test UPCAT-DENTAL for admission to Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) courses in 23 private Dental Colleges of U.P. Educational Qualification: The candidates should have passed HSC (10+2 or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% and 40% for SC/ST/OBCs categories. Age: The candidates’ age should have attained the age of 17yrs on 31st December of the year of application. How to apply: The candidates those are interested to appear for this Medical Entrance Exam, can apply by getting Application Forms from participating colleges in person by Cash/DD of Rs.800. The application forms are available only at Oriental Bank of Commerce Springdale College Branch Bichpuri Road, Pilibhit bypass Road, Bareilly-243006. The DD must only be drawn in favour of “Association of Private Medical & Dental Colleges of UP” that is payable at Bareilly. Exam Fee: The UPCAT examination fee is Rs.800. Exam pattern: The UPCAT exam pattern is as giving here: -- The examination will be of 3 hour -- The total number of questions – 200 MCQs -- The 50 question each of physics, chemistry, botany and zoology. -- The +1 marks for correct answer and there will be a no negative marking system. -- The syllabus of examination is the course as per the class 12th examination. -- There is no negative marking for wrong answers. Syllabus: The UPCAT entrance exam contains general syllabus of relevant subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Biology from classes 11th & 12th under the 10+2 scheme/pre-medical/intermediate science or an equivalent examination of the State Education Board / Indian University.
