ADMISSION ELIGIBILITY
1) For Honours Course: Passed H.S. (Class XII) or equivalent examination with at least 45% of marks in aggregate or 40% in aggregate and 50% marks in the subject. For SC/ST candidates the minimum marks for eligibility is 5% less.
2) For General Course: Passed H.S. (Class XII) or equivalent examination.
3) For B.Sc. General Course: Passed H.S. (Class XII) or equivalent examinations with pass marks in biology and chemistry.
** 22% and 6% of total seats shall be kept reserved for the SC/ST candidates respectively. 2% seats shall be kept reserved for the physically handicapped Pupils. In addition to this, 2% of seats shall also be kept reserved for the candidates hailing from outside India and West Bengal respectively as per NBU rules.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION
1) One attested copy of admit card / certificate of Madhyamik or equivalent Exam.
2) One attested copy of mark sheet of H.S. or equivalent examination.
3) Attested copies of certificate against SC/ST/OBC/Physically handicapped.
4) Two copies of recent passport size photograph (without attestation)
5) Original / attested copy of school leaving certificate.
6) Attested copy of BPL card, if any.

All the above mentioned documents (attested except photograph) are to be enclosed with the Admission form at the time of its submission.
Originals of all the above mentioned documents including acknowledgement of the admission form have to be produced at the time of admission for verification.
