Which courses offered at the Basantika Institute of Engineering and Technology & also give some more information? Basantika Institute of Engineering and Technology (Polytechnic) is approved by AICTE and affiliated to WBSCTE. The objective of the Institute is to encourage and support the students in entrepreneur quality. Admission Procedure The admission procedure is done in 3 steps. 50 % students out of total intake took admission in JEXPO (Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic) quotas and rest took admission in Management quota. Only Madhyamik or its equivalent examination appeared candidate can apply. Management Students who were 35% in aggregate and 45% in Mathematics & Physical Science in Secondary or its equivalent examination and are securing any rank in JEXPO are eligible to take admission directly.
