The university from where candidate have done bachelor degree must be affiliated by UGC with at least one of the subject namely Botany, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Physics, Statistics and Zoology, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification

In which date Union Public Service Commission will conduct IAS IPS exam in this year? From where can I see result of this exam? Please provide me paper pattern of this exam?

The Indian Administrative Service is the administrative civil service of the Government of India.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidate must be citizen of India .
The age of the candidate must be minimum 21 years (all categories) and Max 30 years (general category), 33 years (OBC), 35 years (SC and ST)
A degree from a university recognized by UGC
5 years exemption on upper limit for ex-Servicemen
Number of Attempts-7 (OBC)
4 (general category).

The prelims will consist of 2 papers common to all.

General Studies Paper I
Maximum marks : 200
Number of Questions : 100
Total Time : 120 minutes (02 hours)

Syllabus
Current events of national and international importance
Indian Polity and governance – Constitution, political system, Panchayati Raj, public policy, Rights issues, etc.
Economic and social development – sustainable development, poverty, inclusion, demographics, social sector initiatives etc.
General issues on environmental ecology, bio-diversity and climate change – that do not require subject specialization
General Science
History of India and Indian national movement
Indian and World Geography – physical, social, economic geography of India and the world

General Studies Paper II
Maximum marks : 200
Number of Questions : 80
Total Time : 120 minutes (02 hours)

Papers Of Descriptive Type
Paper III : English (200 marks / 3 hours duration) :- This will be a qualifying test only of Matriculation or equivalent standard.
The pattern of questions would be broadly as follows (indicative only) :—
(i) Comprehension of given passages;
(ii) Precis Writing;
(iii) Usage and Vocabulary;
(iv) Paragraphs writing;

Paper IV : Essay ( 200 Marks/ three hours duration)
Applicants will be required to write two Essays.
One topic will pertain to Indian Society/politics/ Economy/Development, Growth and related aspects.
The other topic will pertain to security and related matters.
Applicants will be expected to keep closely to the subject of the essay to arrange their ideas in orderly fashion, and to write concisely. Credit will be given for effective and exact expression.

Paper V : General Studies (200 Marks/ three hours duration)
Constitution of India and Indian Polity: This part will include questions on the Constitution of India, as well as all constitutional, legal, administrative and other issues emerging from the politico- administrative system prevalent in the country.
Current National Issues and Topics of Social Relevance
A brief idea about History and Geography of India.
