The Department of Mathematical Sciences is established in 1991.School of Mathematical Sciences including the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Statistics. Director: School of Mathematical Science: Dr. R. L. Shinde Courses offered: M.Sc.(Statistics) : 30 B.Sc.+M.Sc.(Actuarial Science) :40 M.Sc.(Mathematics) : 40 PGDAS :25 Eligibility: M.Sc. (Statistics): You must hold B.Sc.(Statistics) or B.Sc. in any other subject with Statistics as a one of the subject with Minimum 50% (45% forSC/ST/NT/OBC) marks M.Sc.(Mathematics): You must hold B.Sc.(Mathematics) or B.Sc. in any other subject with Mathematics as a one of subject up to second year. You must secure minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST/NT/OBC) marks in Mathematics at B.Sc. level. PGDAS: You must hold B.Sc./B.A. or M.Sc./M.A. with principal subject(Statistics/Mathematics/Economics/Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Physics) /B.Com. / B.B.M./E-commerce /M.B.A./B.E.
