I have done my M.Sc and I want to apply for the Banaras Hindu University Junior Research Fellow (JRF) so please can you give me some information about its JRF recruitment please give me the information about no. of post, salary, and qualification and tell me how to apply for this job?

When did Banaras Hindu University launch its geophysics department and what courses does the university offer through this department?

BHU has published recruitment notification for the post of JRF on its official website in the month of December 2011 for its various departments like departments of Physics, departments of Electronics Engineering, Department of Chemistry and so on and qualifications are also different for different departments. So please first of all tell me in which Department you want to apply for this post.

Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi was established in the year 1916. it has 4 institutes and 14 faculties (streams) and more than 140 departments.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) eligibility:
The applicant should have at least 70% in the aggregate or equivalent grade point average in the qualifying examination (B.E./B.Tech) in any branch of Engineering and GATE (fellowship - Rs. 16,000 p.m. plus 20% HRA).

Age limit:
The upper age limit is 28 years (5 years’ relaxation for female/SC/ST/Physically Handicapped Candidate).
