Admission is open to VIII standard Boys only.
Candidates must have passed VII standard or its equivalent.
Minimum physique: Height 135 cm and Weight 28 kg.

Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala is a residential school for boys run by the Ramakrishna Mission. It was started in 1953.

• 1. For High School Boys :

VIII, IX and X standards-
Grey trousers with blue shirts

• 2. For P.U.C students :

I PUC and II PUC –

Grey trousers with white shirts

Dark brown blazers for all students during outing and on special occasions

During games time: Sports banyan, shorts and shoes.

Night dress of their choice after 9.00 PM

On special religious occasions: White Dhoti and uttareeya (upper cloth).

A tailoring section attached to school stores caters to the clothing needs of the pupils.

Food
• 1. Breakfast at 7.30 AM : South Indian snacks like Dosa, Idli etc., coffee/tea/milk.
• 2. Lunch at 12 Noon : Rice, Rasam, Sambar, Curry and Buttermilk.
• 3. Tea at 4.30 PM : Sweet, Khara, Coffee/tea/milk.
• 4. Supper at 8.20 PM : Rice, Rasam, Dhal/sambar/kurma, Chapati/bread, chutney, Bournavita/Badam milk.

The Institution has :
• 1. A modern bakery – Bread, Biscuits, cakes, Puff and other bakery products are occasionally provided to the students.

• 2. A garden which provides fresh vegetables, fruits and coconuts.

• 3. A dairy which supplies our requirement of milk.
