Dombivli Shikshan Prasarak Mandal is a parent body which through its cluster of educational institutions imparts education from K.G. to Ph.D. levels.

Dombivli Shikshan Prasarak Mandal was established in the year 1972 by fourteen elite citizens of Dombivli representing different walks of life

The K. V. Pendharkar college started functioning from June 1979. The College is also given permanent affiliation by the University of Mumbai on 30th August 1980.

Admission Eligibility Criteria For First Year Degree College


B.Com.:- XII (HSC) - Commerce / Science stream. (Preference to our HSC pass outs)

B.Sc.:- XII (HSC) - Science stream.

B.A.:- XII (HSC) - Commerce / Science / Arts Stream. (Preference to our HSC pass outs)

Students from Marathi Medium at HSC are allowed to opt for English Literature at FYBA and students from English medium at HSC are allowed to opt for Marathi Literature at FYBA. English Literature and Marathi Literature should not be given simultaneously at FYBA.

B.Com. (Accounting & Finance):- XII (HSC) with at least 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category) in aggregate in the First attempt.

B.Com. (Banking & Insurance):- XII (HSC) in Commerce / Science Stream with at least 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category) in aggregate at one and the same sitting.

B.M.S.:- XII (HSC) in Commerce / Science / Arts stream with at least 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category) in aggregate in one attempt or Diploma in any Engineering branch with at least two years duration after SSC.

B.Sc. (Computer Science):- XII(HSC) in Science stream with Mathematics and Statistics as one of the subjects.

B.Sc.(Information Technology):- XII(HSC) in Commerce / Science stream with at least 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category) in aggregate with Mathematics and Statistics as one of the subjects in First attempt

B.Sc. (Biotechnology):- XII(HSC) - Science stream. A candidate who has not offered Mathematics and Statistics as one of the subject at XII(HSC) shall have to satisfactorily complete a course in Mathematics and Statistics during first year.
