Eligibility Requirements


1 One must have Master degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate


2 A relaxation of 5% of marks from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade is allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/VJ-NT (Non-creamy layer)/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/differently abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the UGC from time to time, or for those who had obtained their Master’s Degree prior to 19th September, 1991.


3 One is selected on the basis of an Entrance Test/an Interview process administered by the University.


4 Based on the academic records and the performance of the candidate in the entrance test, and interview, the selection committee for each faculty will recommend the names of the candidates found suitable for admission to Ph.D. programme.


5 The entrance test (MCQs) shall be conducted by the Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences University, Karad, as per the notification issued by the University.
a) The medium of language for the entrance test shall be English.
b) The entrance test shall have 50% of Research Methodology & 50 % of subject Specific.

Last date of submission of application form :- Saturday 30th November 2019

Date of Entrance Exam :- Thursday 5th December 2019(11.00 am)

Form Fee: Rs. :- Rs. 1500 /-

Application form can be downloaded from website and submitted along with the D.D. of
Rs. 1500 /- in favor of KIMS University, Payable at Karad
