How to Apply:
The candidate can get the application forms on to the official website.
They have to fill the application form and have to send it along with the copies of qualification certificates demand draft and three self-attested recent passport sized photographs.

Selection Process :
There will be a written test before aptitude test . The shortlisted candidates from written test are called for Pilot Aptitude Test(WOMBAT).

Written Exam date : Third week of May , 2012
Aptitude test date: In the month of June , 2012

WOMAT stands for Wondrous Original Method of Basic Airmanship Testing

WOMBAT is Wondrous Original Method of Basic Airmanship Testing. It is an aptitude test conducted by Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi every year for taking admission to the Ab-initio to CPL course.

Courses offered
2 years Ab-initio to CPL Course.
1 & ½ years PPL to CPL Course

Eligibility:
At least 55% marks in aggregate in Mathematics and Physics and must have English as one of their main subjects.

Exam Pattern/Syllabus:
The exam paper will comprises of the questions from the following subjects:
English
Mathematics
Physics
Reasoning
The syllabus will include the topics from the syllabus of 10+2 level. The following topics should be prepared for the test:

Air Regulation
Aircraft and Engines
Aviation Meteorology
Navigation

How to Apply:
The application form can be downloaded from the official website of the institute. The candidates may also apply online.

The hard copy of the application form along with recent passport size photograph affixed on the right hand corner of the application and attested copies certificate and a demand draft of required fee in favors of the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi should be sent to the address given at the end of the article.
