Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE) is a state level examination conducted by the Bihar Combined Competitive Examination Board as a qualifying examination for admissions to Staff Grade ‘A’ Nursing (For Women Only) and Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM) (For Women Only) Diploma course in Bihar Polytechnic.

DCECE Eligibility Criteria:

For Staff Grade ‘A’ Nurse (For Women Only):
- You must have passed the 12th standard examination with an aggregate of 40% marks, in case of SC/ST students this percentage is 35%
- If you have passed 10+2/Intermediate Vocational Nursing course from recognized University or Institution of Nursing Council of India can also apply.
-Those ANM passed candidates who have passed 10+2/intermediate examination can also apply

For ANM (Women Only):
-You must have appeared/passed in 10+2 examination

DCECE Exam Pattern:

The Paper comprises of two stages:

First stage: conducted for PMD and PM diploma courses
Candidates opting for nursing diploma courses should attempt this stage.

Second Stage: for PE, PNE and HM courses
Candidates opting for Nursing Diploma courses need not attempt this stage.

When will Bihar combined entrance competitive examination Board publish the notification for BCECE 2012? What is the pattern of this exam? What minimum age is required for applying for this exam?

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has also famous DCECE examination. The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) was established through the Government of Bihar in accordance with the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination enactment 1995. The Board shortly conducts Combined Competitive Entrance Examinations (BCECE) for admission in Graduate stage Vocational Courses in Engineering, Medical and Agricultural fields available in the Universities, Colleges and Institutions of the State of Bihar as well as those located outside Bihar against State Quota seats.

The exam dates for 2012 has not been declared. Here I am giving you the details of previous year exam. The exam for 2012 is going to start near to same dates..
