TNPSC Eligibility

Tell me that what is eligibility to apply for TNPSC Group 4 Exam?

You want to apply for TNPSC Group 4 Exam so there are following eligibility candidate must have:

Age Limit: minimum age is 18 years.

Maximum Age:

Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars), Scheduled Tribes and Destitute Widows of all castes 35 Years

Most Backward Classes / Denotified Communities., Backward Classes and Backward Classes (Muslims) 32 Years

“Others” [ i.e Candidates not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs ] 30 Years

Educational Qualification:


For Typist:

Applicant should have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting

Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or)


Junior Grade in English /Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ (or)

Higher / Junior Grade in Tamil/ Senior Grade in English and Lower


For Steno Typist Gr-III:

Must have passed the Government Technical Examination both in Typewriting and in Shorthand

Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or)

(ii) Junior Grade in English/ Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/

Or

Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil.

III. Computer Qualification (Typist & Steno Typist Gr-III): Candidate should have completed Certificate Course in Computer awarded by the Technical Education Department.
