Pasteur Institute of India is one of the chief Institute in the production of Anti Rabies Vaccine and DPT Group of Vaccines for the Expanded Programme of Immunization of Govt. of India.

Courses Offered

M.Phil., & Ph.d.,

It is affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore for conducting M. Phil., & Ph.D., courses in Microbiology and Biotechnology (Part time & Full time) and Bio-Chemistry (Part time)

Selection Procedure:

Candidates who have undergone Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Bharathiar University submit the applications for applying M. Phil., & Ph.D., which is available on the Website of Bharathiar University.

The duly filled in application along with necessary fee should be submitted to Bharathiar University and the second copy should be forwarded to the Institute.

After the receipt of the applications candidate is interviewed by the Institute. Candidates are selected for doing M. Phil. /Ph.D., at the Institute based on the marks obtained in CET and the interview.
