Will you please give me detail of Chartered Accountancy Correspondence course??

Chartered Accountancy course is offered by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and it imparts training through correspondence mode.

Levels:
- Common Proficiency Test is the first level of Chartered Accountancy examinations.
- Intermediate Professional Course is the second level of Chartered Accountancy examinations.
- CA Final Examination is the last and final level of Chartered Accountancy Examinations

Duration of Chartered Accountancy course

Common Proficiency Test:
Minimum duration of the course will be two months.

Integrated Professional Competence Course:
The duration of this stage of the program is nine months and after qualifying the Integrated Professional Competence examination

Final Exam:
The final examination can be taken anytime after completion of a minimum of 3 years of articled training, as the duration of the articled training is 3 years and 6 months.

Common Proficiency Test (CPT)
It is the entry level course for admission in Chartered Accountancy Course.
CPT Exam is held twice every year in the month of June and December.

Eligibility for Common Proficiency Test (CPT)
-You needs to have cleared the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or is waiting for the 10+2 exam results, can register for the CA Programme.
- There is no restriction in regard to the age of the candidates.
-There are no restrictions with regard to marks secured in Senior Secondary Examination for appearing in CA Entrance Exam Papers
