The Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI) at Izatnagar was initially established as the Imperial Bacteriological Laboratory in 1889. It conduct research for protection of Indian livestock wealth from the dreaded diseases. There are many honors and awards got by The Indian Veterinary Research Institute and here is its list:
