TAHDCO has a full staff strength of five hundred twenty-four employees, which includes one hundred engineers.

Tamil Nadu ADI Dravidar Housing Development Corporation (TAHDCO) was launched on 1974 and initially for building of houses for SC and ST TAHDCO is at present the Chief Maturation Agency of the Government of Tamil Nadu for implementing economic growth schemes for the welfare of SC and ST. It is a famous and most important Public Sector Undertaking of the Government of Tamil Nadu under the Department of ADI Dravidar and Tribal Welfare.
