The Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes (CIRB) is established by Haryana Governments and it located at Hisar, Haryana, India. The Institute fulfills research on several aspects of buffalo betterment letting in conservation of germplasm, growth of optimum diets and feeding systems, enhancement of procreative efficiency and health management practices for augmenting milk, meat and draught. The Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes (Main Campus) is settled at Hisar in Haryana state on the National Highway No. ten between latitude 29.10°N and longitude 75.46°E, almost one hundred seventy km north-west of the national capital - New Delhi.
