Last date to receive request for Application Form & Brochure: 25-06-2011
Last Date to receive Filled Application Form: 15-07-2011 Evening 5:00 PM
Date of Exam: 6-08-2011 (M.E/M.Tech/M.Arch & MBA Infrastructure Management)
Date of Exam: 7-08-2011 (MBA/MCA)

Buy Demand Draft in any Nationalized Bank drawn in favor of “The Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority” payable at Bangalore.
Prepare or Buy cloth-lined envelop of size 25cm X 30cm and write your address.
Keep the self addressed envelop and DD in a cover. On the top of the cover write “Request for PGCET – 2011 brochure for the required courses name. Send to the following address through Speed Post only to The Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority, 18th cross, Sampige Road, Malleshwaram, Bangalore – 12.

Karnataka Examinations Authority conducts the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) for admission to first year / first semester MBA/MCA/M.E./M.Tech/M.BA (Infrastructure Management) courses in the State of Karnataka

Karnataka PGCET Tentative Dates:
Commencement of Entry of Application Online: Ist Week of July
Last Date of Entry of Application: Mid of July
Last date to pay the fees through NEFT transfer : Mid of July
Downloading of Admission Tickets on or after: Last Week of July
Test: End of July
Result: August

Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria

For Full Time M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch / MBA (Infrastructure Management) Course:

-You should have valid GATE score as defined by KEA
- You should have passed prescribed qualifying examination or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks taken together (45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates)

For Part Time M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch courses:
- You should have passed prescribed qualifying examination or equivalent examination as specified with aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together (45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I candidates)
-Work experience of 3 years in an establishment and must be Working in an organization situated within a radial distance of 40 km from the institution
