please give me the the whole detail about ESI Act. and tell me What is ESI Act?

The promulgation of Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948(ESI Act), by the Parliament was the first major legislation on social Security for workers in India.

The ESI Act 1948 encompasses certain health related eventualities that the
Workers are generally exposed to;
Such as sickness of worker,
And Maternity,
Or Temporary / permanent disablement of worker,
If worker gets Occupational disease or death due to employment injury,
If worker Resulting in loss of wages or earning capacity-total or partial

The Act 1948 also guarantees to workers for reasonably good medical care.

Benefits of ESI is that this scheme provides medical attendance, treatment, drugs and injections, specialist consultation and hospitalization to insured persons and the family .
