Can anyone provide me MA English course syllabus of Rajasthan University? As you want I am here giving you syllabus for M.A. Geography post graduate course offered by University of Rajasthan. Eligibility for M.A. Geography Candidate must have graduation degree in relevant subject. Secure good marks in graduation. Syllabus M.A. Geography: I SEMESTER Sub Code- Geo 101: Geographical Thoughts (upto Medieval period) Section-A Definition, Scope, Nature and purpose of geography, The beginning of geography in classical age, contribution of Greeks and Romans to geography with special reference to the work of Herodotus, Eratasthnes, Pasidonius, Strabo and Ptolemy. Section-B Geography in the middle ages, the geographical ideas of the christian world. Contributions of Muslims to Medieval geography, the work of A1 Birumi, Edrese, Ibn- Batute, Ibn Khaldun, the Geography of ancient India. Section-C The revival of scientific geography during 16th and 17th centuries, the works of Sebastian Munstar, Cluvarious, Carpenter and Varenius, the development of scientific geography during 18th and 19th centuries, the works of Buching, Malti Baru, Kant. Sub Code- Geo 102: Dynamic Geomorphology Section-A Introduction to physical Geography, Definition, Recent Trends in Physical Geography, Models and systems in Physical Geography. Zoning of the earth’s interior, Thermal state of the interior, Endogenetic forces, Mountain Building Theories, (Kober, jeffreys, joly, Holms, Wegener and plate tectonics),Volcanic activity and Earth quakes, Isostasy. Section-B Denudation types or weathering: Physical and chemical weathering; factors affecting weathering processes. Rivers and Drainage Basins: Work of Rivers, classification of Valleys, Drainage pattern, Drainage basin and morphometry, baseline changes, Glacial and peri-glacial landforms. Desert and tropical landforms, process of desertification. Coastal features, Factors affecting coast and shoreline processes. Cliffs and platforms, coastal classification. Karst and limestone topography. ![]() You are looking for Rajasthan University MA English course syllabus so here it is: O.199F1: The examination of Regular students of Master degree (Post-graduate) courses of the University admitted in the academic session 2011-12 and after shall be based on (a) Semester Examinations, (b) Continuous Assessment, (c) Choice Based Credit System, and (d) Semester Grade Point Average and Cumulative Grade Point Average system as provided in O.199F1to O.199F5. The ordinances which were in force prior to academic session 2011-12, will be applicable for Non-collegiate students (wherever permissible) and students admitted prior to academic session 2011-12 only. The ordinances O.199F1to O.199F5 will have overriding effect over other ordinances for the Regular courses leading to Masters’ degree. O.199F2: Fifteen (15) hours of theory teaching will lead to one credit (which means one hour per week theory teaching in a semester of 90 teaching days) and in case of practical 45 hours of laboratory work will lead to two credit (which means 3 hours practical class per week in a semester of 90 teaching days). Each semester of Master’s course shall offer 36 credits or more. Number of Semester Examinations and Minimum Credit required to be earned for award of Master degree in various Post-Graduate courses is specified in table given below.
