TIFR that has acquired 209 acres of land in Hyderabad has set up its first research venture. The workshop, organized in association with the National Facility for High Field NMR dwelled on developing an in-depth overview of the current field status and on determining new directions and cutting edges wherein NMR will have maximal impact on, said KVR Chary, senior professor of NMR division, TIFR. There are many topics were covered in the workshop, dealing with the theoretical aspects and applications leading to bio-molecular structure determination, advances in imaging, study of metabolism in human systems, and applications to pharmaceutical industry.
