(B) Assistant Professors- For the Depts. of (I) Civil Engg. (II) Electronics & Comm. Engg. (III) Elect. Engg. (IV) Mech. Engg.
Quali. & Exp.- as per 6th Pay Commission (AICTE/ UGC) Norms.

Superannuated persons (upto 68 yrs.) may also apply (for faculty positions only).

II- Officer-in-Charge – Training and Placement (OIC-TP)-Quali. & Exp. – This is a senior level position where the incumbent will be responsible for Placement Training and Career Grooming of Students, with place of duty at the Kolkata office of the Institute at Santoshpur, Kolkata. The candidate should preferably hold a Post Graduate Technical or Professional qualification with past experience as Training and Placement Officer in an engineering Institute for a minimum period of 5 years. He is expected to possess excellent communication skills in English and have professional orientation and zeal to perform.

Scale of Pay- Professor/ Associate Professor/ OIC-TP - to be suitably placed in the Pay band Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 and Grade Pay of Rs.10,000/-, Rs.9,000/-, Rs.9,000/- respectively, with other provisions, viz, DA, MA, EPF, Gratuity etc.

Assistant Professor to be suitably placed in the Pay band – Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 6000/-, with other provisions viz, DA, MA, EPF, Gratuity etc.
