All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination is conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for admission to PG MD/MS/Diploma and MDS courses for admission to 50% of total seats on all-India foundation. Exam pattern: This exam is one stage exam separated in two sections. This exam consists of 300 multiple choice questions. You have to answer all questions in 3.5 hours. This exam has negative marks. For every wrong answer one mark will be deduct. AIPGMEE (All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination) is one of the toughest examinations in the country, passing which aspirants become postgraduate doctors in their respective specializations. The exam has been replaced by NEET PG exam which is conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). Important dates: Date for Application Form Filling 1st November 2019 Last Date for filling Application Form 21st November 2019 Releasing date of Admit Card 28th December 2019 onwards Exam date of AIPGMEE 5th January 2020 Declaration of result By 31st January 2020 Counselling begins Mar-20 Eligibility Candidates are advised to check the eligibility clearly before filling the application form. Candidates must possess an MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate from a recognised institute.
