As per your requirement here I am giving the CPWD Junior Engineer Recruitment details: Eligibility The candidate should have a Diploma in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute. Junior Engineer (CPWD) Examination will be conducted in two parts, here its pattern: A. Written Test 500 marks B. Interview 100 mark Paper 1 General Awareness General Engineering (Civil & Structural) or General Engineering (Electrical & Mechanical) Paper 2 General Engineering (Civil & Structural) or General Engineering (Electrical & Mechanical) Syllabus: Here is the syllabus Surveying: Principles of surveying, working of properties, compass and bearing, plane table surveying, theodolite traverse, adjustment of theodolite, levelling and contouring, curvature, refraction, permanent adjustment of dumpy level, methods of contouring and uses of a control map, tachometric survey. Soil Mechanics: Origin of soil phase diagram, definitions of void ratio, porosity, degree of saturation, water content, specific gravity of soil grains and unit weights, grain size distribution curves for different solid and their uses. Atterjerg’s limits, ISI soil classification, plasticity chart, coefficient of permeability, effective stress, consolidation of soils.
