Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University (PSTU) was set up on 1985 is one of the famous few language universities in India. This University was launched with the broad targets of helping the cause of the Telugu people, some within the State and outdoor. This University was called as "Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University" on 1998. The University Grants Commission has accredited the University as fit to get financial grants since 2 May 1990. It subscribes to almost one hundred fifty subject journals in Telugu and English. The University Awards one big personality annually from the fields of literature, Art and innovators in any field of knowledge.
