The Heavy Water Board (HWB), a establish under Department of Atomic Energy in the Government of India is primarily responsible for production of Heavy Water (D2O) which is used as a 'moderator' and 'Coolant' in nuclear power as well as research reactors.

Heavy Water Board Vacancy Details:

Name of the Posts:
Scientific Officer/C, (Medical-General Medicine): 03 Posts (02-OBC, 01-UR)
Scientific Assistant/B (Lab Technician): 02 Posts (01-UR, ST-01)

Age Limit:
-Your age limit should be 30 years as on 01-01-2014.
-Relaxation upto 5 years against reserved posts for STs.
-Relaxation upto 3 years against reserved posts for OBCs.
-Relaxation for Ex-servicemen will be provided as per rules.

Educational Qualification:
You should possess M.B.B.S. + relevant Post Graduate Diploma including D.R.M or equivalent for Scientific Officer/C Posts, B.Sc. + One Year Diploma in Medical Lab Tech. (DMLT) for Scientific Assistant/B Posts.
