Will you please provide the TANCET MCA course eligibility , exam pattern and dates?

Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test known as TANCET is conducted by TNSF - Consortium of Tamil Nadu. The test is basically conducted for those applicants who are interested to join MBA, MCA, ME and M.Tech courses available in the listed colleges coming under TNSF - Consortium in management quota seats.

Eligibility Criteria(MCA course):
Applicants with a Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline with Mathematics at the (10+2) or at the Bachelor's level are eligible to take this test.
All those applicants who are appearing at Bachelor's degree examination in respective year and fulfil aforementioned criteria are also eligible but they will have to furnish proof of having passed the Bachelor's degree examination at the time of admission to respective institutes.

Exam Pattern:
This MCA Entrance Exam is the multiple-choice based entrance exam, with negative marking for every wrong answers. The 2 hours paper comprises of 100 questions of one mark each comprising of following given topics:-
Quantitative Ability
Analytical ability
Computer Awareness
Logical Reasoning

Every question shall carry 1marks for correct answer. For each incorrect answer one-fourth mark shall be deducted. If a question has not been attempted no credit will be given.

Date of Issue of TANCET 2014 Application form : February 1st , 2014
Last Date to Send filled in TANCET Application 2014 : February 18th, 2014
Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test ( TANCET ) Entrance Exam conducted on 22nd March, 2014 & 23rd March, 2014 .
Tamil Nadu MCA Professional Degree Courses Counselling start from May, 2014 to June, 2014.
