UKSEE Uttarakhand State Engineering Entrance Examination

What are the admission procedure and eligibility for UKSEEE.. I am the student of Tamilnadu will i be able to apply for the same.

Uttarakhand Technical University conducts - Uttarakhand State Engineering Entrance Examination (UKSEE) as one of the state engineering entrance exam in India for various courses like in engineering, medical, pharmacy and hotel management and computer application and also conduct direct admission for second year programmes at undergraduate bachelor level.

Engineering Degree courses:
1.) B.Tech
2.) B.Arch

Eligibility:
For admission to first year of B. Pharm. / BHMCT the candidate must have passed intermediate (10+2 level or equivalent) examination of Uttarakhand Board or from any recognized Board.
The admission to second year (lateral entry) of B.Tech, the candidate must have passed three years ‘Diploma in Engineering’ or three years ‘B.Sc. degree with mathematics as one subject’ and securing minimum 60% marks in aggregate.

Application forms Procedure:
The application forms will be available at various post offices in various cities of Uttarakhand as well as from Post offices. The cost of Brochure/Application form Inclusive of Examination Fee is Rs. 1000/- for General/ OBC Candidates and Rs 500.00 for SC/ST candidates with Rs. 40/- additional as post office handling charges.

Exam pattern:
Entrance test is an objective type written test. For B.Tech: written test is comprised of physics, chemistry and mathematics.
For B.Pharma written test is comprised of physics and chemistry (compulsory, of 2.5 hrs duration) with mathematics / biology (1.5 hr duration).
For B.Tech / B.Pharma Lateral entry: aptitude test. (1.5 hr duration)
BHMCT: aptitude test (1.5 hrs)
MCA: aptitude test (2 hrs)

The candidates must Passed Diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution; with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology. And Passed B. Sc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject.

The admission is based on the entrance exam.
