The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is a public central university.
The Aligarh Muslim University established by Sir Syed Ahmed Khan as Madrasatul Uloom Musalmanan-e-Hind, in 1875.

The courses offered by the AMU faculty of law are as listed given below:

Duration: 10 Semesters (5 Years)

Eligibility:
Qualification:
The candidate should have Senior Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent examination with aggregate not less than 50% of the total marks.

Age limit:
The candidate’s age should not more than 22 years as on 1st July in the year of admission.

The selection procedure is based on the admission Test.

There shall be one paper of 100 marks consisting of 75 objective type questions (75% weightage) and 10 short answer type questions (25% weightage) based on following topics:

-- Current Affairs/General Knowledge (with emphasis on legal issues)
-- Reasoning and Aptitude
