Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation was set up on July 01, 1957 and it is an authority of Government of Tamil Nadu committed with publicity of tourism to Tamil Nadu and growth of tourist infrastructure. It center office is located in Chennai (Tamilnadu, India). It was organized with the target of encouraging tourism in Tamilnadu through offering infrastructure facilities of transport and accommodation. Hotels of TTDC is now having seventy-eight outlets Out of the fifty-four hotels under the control of TTDC, 2 hotel units have been handed over on long term lease of thirty years during the year 1995. The Government of Tamilnadu have so soon approved plan of franchising thirty hotel units of TTDC and seven Restaurants.
