Eton is academically selective.
The key selection point is at age 11,when Conditional Places are given
for entry at 13 subject to a satisfactory
performance in the Common Entrance
Examination or the King’s Scholarship
(see next page). The number of boys
with Conditional Places who fail to
qualify through Common Entrance
at 13 is very small.
