I am taking part in the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination and for that reason I need the syllabus of the institute so please can you give me the syllabus and provide me the page where I can download the syllabus? You need IIT JEE Aptitude Test Syllabus, I am providing here: Part – I Awareness of persons, places, Buildings, Materials. ) Objects, Texture related to Architecture and build – environment. Visualising three dimensional objects from two dimensional drawings. Visualising. different sides of three dimensional objects. Analytical Reasoning Mental Ability ( Visual, Numerical and Verbal ). Part – II Three Dimensional – Perception : Understanding and appreciation of scale and proportion of objects, building forms and elements, colour texture, harmony and contrast. Design and drawing of geometrical or abstract shapes and patterns in pencil. Transformation of Forms : Transformation of Forms both 2 D and 3 D union, substraction, rotation, development of surfaces and volumes, Generation of Plan, elevations and 3 D views of objects. Creating two dimensional and three dimensional compositions using given shapes and forms. Sketching : Sketching of scenes and activities from memory of urbanscape ( public space, market, festivals, street scenes, monuments, recreational spaces etc. ), landscape ( river fronts, jungles. gardens, tre es, plants etc. ) and rural life. Here I am giving you syllabus of the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination Aptitude test as below:- Freehand drawing: This would comprise of simple drawing depicting the total object in its right form and proportion, surface texture, relative location and details of its component parts in appropriate scale. Common domestic or day-to-day life usable objects like furniture, equipment, etc., from memory. Geometrical drawing: Exercises in geometrical drawing containing lines, angles, triangles, quadrilaterals, polygons, circles etc. Study of plan (top view), elevation (front or side views) of simple solid objects like prisms, cones, cylinders, cubes, splayed surface holders etc. Three-dimensional perception: Understanding and appreciation of three-dimensional forms with building elements, colour, volume and orientation. Visualization through structuring objects in memory. Imagination and aesthetic sensitivity: Composition exercise with given elements. Context mapping. Creativity check through innovative uncommon test with familiar objects. Sense of colour grouping or application. Architectural awareness: General interest and awareness of famous architectural creations – both national and international, places and personalities (architects, designers etc. ) in the related domain.
