MA Psychology DU Entrance

Is there any Entrance Exams in Delhi Univeristy for MA Psychology course. If yes, can you give me name of the exam and the date when the university is conducting it?

University of Delhi, popularly known as Delhi University (DU), has announced the results of MA (Master of Arts) in Psychology programme admission test, which is to be offered in the ensuing session 2010. Candidates are selected on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the University. DU has published a batch-wise list of the candidates along with the details about the Room No where the interview will be conducted. The list constitute of a total of 12 batches. The University has developed into one of the largest universities in the country. DU is among the largest and most prestigious universities of the country, has a wide range of faculties and around 80 colleges spread all over the city. DU has been awarded credit from UGC for outstanding academic work. It is an looked upon university of international repute and degrees awarded by it carry value worldwide.

Admission to M.A. Psychology:
1. The number of students proposed to be admitted during the academic year 2008-2009 is 70.
2. Reservation for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and PH candidates : 15%, 7.5% and 3%, respectively. OBC admissions will be as per University guidelines.
All applicants are required to pay a registration fee of Rs. 400/- (for General category) and Rs. 100/-(for Reserved Category) non/- refundable by a Bank Draft/Demand Draft of the State Bank of India drawn in favour of the Registrar, University of Delhi, Delhi -110007, payable at State Bank of India. Delhi University Branch (North Campus).

Yes Delhi University conducts the entrance exam for MA Psychology. The university is conducting the entrance exam on 09.07.11. And you can get the application form for this exam from this link du.ac.in/index.php?id=671 and the Registration Dates for this exam is 23.06.11 to 07.07.11.
The entrance exam has the questions of objective type and the questions about General Psychology, Social Psychology, Statistics, Abnormal/ Clinical Psychology, Industrial & Organizational Psychology, Developmental Psychology.

And the Total Seats are 95
For General students 54
For Scheduled Caste students 14
For Scheduled Tribe students 07
For OBC students 20
