I need the detail of Reserve Bank of India National Electronic Funds Transfer Holidays so please can you give me the list of Holidays and provide me the page where I can get the detail of the Holidays?

Hi buddy I heard NEFT Transactions are not possible on holidays declared by the RBI, is it , so if yes then would you plz let me know about RBI NEFT Holidays, so that I could keep this thing in my mind ??

Yes NEFT Transactions are not possible on holidays declared by the RBI. The common holidays for NEFT Transactions are as follows

January 26th Republic Day

April 1st Bank Annual Closing

April 19th Good Friday

August 15th Independence Day

August 22nd Bakri-Id

October 2nd Gandhi Jayanti

December 25th Christmas

NEFT Cut off Timings for Major Banks

Name of the bank Monday to Friday Timings Saturday Timings

State Bank of India 8 am to 7 pm 8 am to 1 pm

HDFC Bank 8 am to 6:30 pm 8 am to 6:30 pm

ICICI Bank 8 am to 6:30 pm 8 am to 6:30pm

Kotak Mahindra Bank 8 am to 6 pm 8 am to 12 pm

Bank of Baroda 9 am to 6:45 pm 9 am to 6:45 pm

Yes Bank 8 am to 7 pm 8 am to 1 pm

Union Bank 8 am to 6:30 pm 8 am to 6:30 pm

Punjab National Bank 8 am to 7 pm 8 am to 1 noon

NEFT transfers made offline at the branch of any bank is chargeable as follows:

NEFT Transfer Amount NEFT Charges

Amounts up to Rs.10000 Rs.2.50+GST

Amounts above Rs.10000 and up to Rs.1 lakh Rs. 5+ GST

Amounts above Rs.1 lakh and up to Rs.2 lakhs Rs.15

Above Rs.2 Lakh Not more than Rs.25
