You are looking dates of Assam Teacher Eligibility Test so following is its dates:

Issue of applications from post office: 1-10-2012 to 10-10-2012
Last Date for Submission of application forms: 30-10-2012
TET Examination: Last Week of February 2013
TET Exam Result: Tentatively on 20-03-2013

Age limit: Age should be below 38 years. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Education Qualification: Candidate should have Graduate degree in BA/B.Sc/ B.Com with 50% marks with B.T./ B.Ed. degree from any recognized university.

Assam Teachers Eligibility Test (ATET) is conducted for candidates aspiring to become teachers in primary (class I -V) and upper primary (VI-VIII) schools in the state of Assam.

Eligibility:

Qualification Teachers of Classes I-V (Paper I) 2014:

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45 percent marks.

Candidates appearing in final 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education / 2 – year Diploma in Education in Special Education are also eligible
OR
BA / B.Sc. and B.Ed with at least 50 percent marks

Qualification Teachers of Classes VI-VIII (Paper II) 2014 :

B.A. / B.Sc and those appearing in final 2 year D.Ed. / B.A. /B.Sc. with at least 45 percent marks and passed / appearing in B.Ed / Senior Secondary with at least 50 percent marks and passed or appearing in final 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) / 4-year BA/ B.Sc.Ed. or B.A. (Ed.)/B.Sc. (Ed.) / B.Ed. (Special Education) with 50 percent in BA or B.Sc


Exam pattern:


The exam consists of two objective type question papers. Each paper consists of 150 multiple choice questions and each question carries 1 mark.

Paper I: For teachers for classes I-V in Assam primary school
Paper I: For teachers for classes between VI and VIII in Assam upper primary school
Paper I and II: For those who are interested in teaching from Class I to VIII.

Child Development and Pedagogy 30 30 Marks
Language I 30 30 Marks
Language II 30 30 Marks
Mathematics 30 30 Marks
Environmental Studies 30 30 Marks
Total 150 150 Marks
