The Institute of Rail Transport also known as [IRT] was incorporated in 1964,with its headquarters in New Delhi,

It has other branches at all nine zonal Railway Headquarters, include-

Delhi, Calcutta, Mumbai, Chennai, Guwahati, Gorakhpur, Secunderabad

The Institute conducts the following three (3) Diploma Courses:

i ) RAIL TRANSPORT AND MANAGEMENT

ii ) TRANSPORT ECONOMICS & MANAGEMENT

iii ) MULTI-MODAL TRANSPORT (CONTAINERIZATION) & LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT


COURSE FEES:-

The fees for the following one year diploma correspondence courses have given below :-

The fee for Transport Economics & Management is Rs. 5000/- (commencing from January - February of every year)

and

The fee for Multi-Modal Transport (Containerisation) & Logistics Management is Rs.5000/- (commencing from March- April of every year).
