What is the date of CET Karnataka 2012? How can I get application forms for this exam? What will be the paper pattern of this exam?

For what all courses does Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2012 will get conducted? Give me the list of colleges that are giving admission on the basis of KCET to its medical courses? When the exam is supposed to be conducted?

Name the colleges under the Karnataka CET 2012? What minimum percentage is required for this exam? What is the pattern of this exam? When will the result of this exam be declared?

Eligibility:
The minimum eligibility required is 10+2 in relevant subjects with at least 50% mraks from the recognized board under Karnataka state . The candidates must be the resident of Karnataka state . The minimum age required is 17 years .

Pattern:

There are four papers in the exam :
Paper I: Mathematics (For Engineering and Architecture Candidates)
Paper II: Biology (For the Medical aspirants)
Paper III: Physics (Mandatory for all)
Paper IV: Chemistry (Mandatory for all)

The exam will be conducted in two days. There will be negative marking for wrong answer.
Duration and marks for each papers : 60 question , 80 marks

Application from :
The candidate can purchase the application form from the participating institutes of Karnataka CET .

Last date for availability of application form: In second week of April, 2012
Exam date : Last week of April , 2012

Karnataka CET is a common entrance test which is organized by the Karnataka University to get admission in Engineering, Dental and Medical courses at graduate level.

Karnataka CET Eligibility Criteria:
- You must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- You must have Chemistry / Bio-technology / Computer-Science / Electronics / Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study.
- You must have attained 45% marks in aggregate in optional subjects to meet the KCET Eligibility Criteria.

Karnataka CET 2014 Important Dates:
Date of Availability of Applications March starting tentatively
Last Date for Online Submission April mid tentatively
Entrance Test May 1 & 2, 2014
Result Declaration May end tentatively

KCET Exam Pattern

-There will be three sections/papers in the exam.
-Each exam will be of 80 minutes.
-Each paper will have 60 questions i.e. 180 questions in total.
-Each correct question will get 1 mark.
-Papers would be composed from math, physics and chemistry.
-Maximum score for each paper is 60 so the total marks in the exam is 180 (60x3).
-No negative marking for wrongly answered questions or multiply answered questions.
