The Botanical Survey of India (BSI) is the apex research organization under the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Govt. of India for carrying out taxonomic and floristic studies on wild plant resources of the country. It was established on 13th February, 1890

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for appointment of Junior Research Fellows (JRFs)
Number of Positions: 22

Fellowship Amount: The appointed JRFs will be paid a fixed fellowship of Rs. 12,000/- per month

Duration of Fellowship: The Junior Research Fellows will be appointed initially for 2 years

Essential Qualification:
You should essentially possess a minimum 2nd class Masters degree in Botany awarded by a UGC recognized university.

Age Limit: The upper age limit for general male candidate and general female candidate is 25 years and 30 years
