I am giving the Machine Design paper syllabus of B Tech Mechanical Engineering course for Indira Gandhi National Open University. Here is the syllabus.
UNIT –I

Design of fasteners: welded and bolted joints, welded joints, computer aided design of at least one joint eccentric loading of riveted joints,
threaded joint, Knuckle, cotter, design and drawing of permanent fasteners - riveted joints,
